Russian Drone Hits High-Rise Apartment Building In Kyiv, Five Injured
“An impact on a residential building has been recorded in the Darnytskyi district. Information about casualties is being clarified. Emergency services are heading to the scene,” the administration said.
Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko clarified that a Russian drone had struck a 24-story residential building, causing a fire and damage to the walls.
In the Darnytskyi district, a UAV struck a 24-story residential building at the level of the 11th and 12th floors. A fire broke out and walls were damaged on the 12th floor,” Klitschko said.
According to updated information from the Mayor, five people were injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv in the morning of September 9.
“Five people were injured in the enemy attack on the capital this morning. Three of the injured were hospitalized by medics,” Klitschko said.
