(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said this at a briefing, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“A meeting between President Zelensky and Prime Minister Magyar is being planned. We have been ready for it for a long time. Even before Péter Magyar's election, we were discussing schedules and possible venues for the meeting. I can confirm that, as of now, there is a new proposal regarding when and where exactly the leaders could meet. We have conveyed it to the Hungarian side and hope that such a meeting can take place,” he said.

The diplomat noted that Kyiv would welcome a meeting between the leaders and hoped it would help put the normalization of Ukrainian–Hungarian relations on a stable footing.
