Russia Reiterates Firm Support For Palestinian Statehood Based On International Law
Moscow, Sept. 8 (Petra) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed on Tuesday his country's steadfast position in support of resolving the Palestinian issue in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Speaking at a news conference, Lavrov stressed the necessity of settling Middle East conflicts through diplomatic channels, emphasizing that Russia remains committed to its stance advocating for a resolution based on international frameworks.
He added that diplomatic efforts must be intensified to reach solutions for regional conflicts that guarantee long-term stability and peace.
