The meeting, attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, addressed recent regional developments, as well as the need to de-escalate current tensions and ensure the security and sovereignty of Arab states, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty underscored the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Oman, as well as Jordan's readiness to continue strengthening them.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Qadi, and Oman's Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Ojaili attended the meeting.
