Litime Launches 12V 320Ah Comflex Battery That Communicates With RV Power Systems

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LiTime, a global LiFePO4 power solutions expert, announced its new LiHeatTM 12V 320Ah ComFlex LiFePO4 Battery RV-C and NMEA 2000 communication, as well as integration with compatible Victron systems.

Through these connections, the battery can share operating data with compatible onboard control and energy-management systems, allowing users to view battery status through existing compatible displays instead of relying solely on a standalone app or battery monitor.




As RVs become increasingly electrified and connected, onboard power is moving beyond collections of independent devices toward systems that can share data and work together. Capacity, output and cycle life of an RV lithium battery remain fundamental, but system connectivity is becoming an increasingly important part of battery management. Designed for this shift, the 320Ah ComFlex battery combines 4.096kWh of energy storage with system communication, smart battery management and multi-battery expandability in a compact footprint.

Beyond App Monitoring: Bringing Battery Data Into the Power System

Bluetooth monitoring gives users direct visibility into the battery through the LiTime app, including state of charge (SOC), voltage, current and other operating parameters. LiTime's T5.0 intelligent communication technology extends that visibility beyond the app by allowing battery data to be shared through CAN and RS485 interfaces with compatible external energy systems.

For users with Victron energy systems, T5.0 supports real-time BMS data exchange with compatible Victron Cerbo GX devices, providing access to more than 25 battery parameters, including SOC, voltage, temperature, charge and discharge current limits, maximum charge voltage and individual cell status.

Using this real-time battery data, compatible systems can dynamically adjust charging current and other charging parameters for more responsive charge control and battery protection, helping extend battery life.




The new battery also supports the RV-C communication standard, a CAN-based protocol designed for onboard RV devices. In compatible RV-C networks, the battery BMS can provide SOC, voltage, temperature and warning information directly to the vehicle's control system, allowing users to view battery status through existing compatible RV control panels or onboard displays without relying on a separate battery monitor.




Support for NMEA 2000 extends similar system-level communication capabilities to compatible marine electronics networks.

Together, these communication options allow battery information to become part of the broader RV or marine system rather than remain isolated within a standalone battery monitor.

Operating History, OTA Updates and SOC Reserve

Beyond system communication, the new battery adds several features designed to give users greater visibility and control over battery operation.

In addition to real-time status monitoring, the battery provides nearly 30 days of operating history and stores up to 300 event records. Users can review changes in battery behavior over time, identify when and under what conditions protection mechanisms were triggered or unusual events occurred, and use that information to support troubleshooting and day-to-day energy management.




The battery also supports over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, allowing compatible software features and system functionality to be improved through future updates without requiring hardware replacement.

Another new feature is an adjustable SOC reserve. Users can set a minimum SOC threshold in the LiTime app. Once the battery reaches that level, the system stops further discharge, preserving reserve capacity and reducing excessive deep-discharge events to help extend battery life.

For extended boondocking, seasonal travel and off-grid use where charging sources may be less predictable, these features give users greater control over how battery capacity is monitored, reserved and managed over time.

4.096kWh of Energy in a More Compact Footprint

RV power demands continue to grow, while available installation space remains limited. This is especially true in vans, travel trailers and converted RVs, where battery compartments and storage areas often leave little room for large power systems.

As a high-capacity 12V LiFePO4 battery, the ComFlex is part of LiTime's Mini series, offering 320Ah of capacity and 4.096kWh of energy storage. Its 200A BMS supports up to 2,560W of continuous output, providing a stable power foundation for refrigerators, lighting, electronics and other everyday RV loads.

At approximately 14.49 × 7.44 × 10.04 inches and about 59.97 lbs, the new battery is roughly 35% smaller than a typical 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery and about 65% lighter than three 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries.




The compact design allows users to install 4.096kWh-class energy storage in tighter spaces while reducing space requirements, installation complexity and wiring compared with larger or multi-battery configurations.

Scalable From One Battery to a 16-Battery System

As RV power requirements grow, users may need to expand from a single battery to a larger multi-battery system.

With parallel communication enabled, the LiTime 12V 320Ah ComFlex LiFePO4 Battery supports up to 16 batteries in a 16P1S parallel configuration, providing expansion options for applications ranging from single-battery RV installations to larger off-grid power systems.

For standard series and parallel installations without communication, the battery supports configurations of up to 4P4S.




In multi-battery communication systems, users can turn the entire parallel battery bank on or off using a single button on one battery, eliminating the need to switch each battery individually. This simplifies the management of larger battery banks and can help reduce unnecessary standby power consumption during long-term parking or seasonal storage.

For winter RVing and cold-climate use, the battery incorporates LiHeatTM dual-mode self-heating technology

With support for RV-C, NMEA 2000 and compatible Victron systems, along with communication-enabled expansion for up to 16 batteries, the new ComFlex battery is designed to serve as a connected, manageable and scalable part of modern RV and marine power systems.
