Image L-R: Gianluca Masini, Country Manager at Fuze Finance (Switzerland) and Mo Ali Yusuf, Fuze CEO Lugano, Switzerland / Dubai, United Arab Emirates – September 2026: Fuze Finance, a regulated crypto assets infrastructure provider that has made rapid inroads in emerging markets, has announced its expansion to Switzerland. The growth marks Fuze's first entry to Western Europe, complementing its existing regulatory licenses in the Middle East, Turkey and Canada. The Supervisory Organisation for Financial Intermediaries and Trustees (SO-FIT), which is authorised by FINMA to operate as a self-regulatory organisation (SRO) and as a supervisory organisation (SO) under Swiss law, has approved Fuze Finance as an affiliated financial intermediary. Fuze Finance will be subject to supervision by the SO-FIT SRO for any activity subject to the Anti-Money Laundering Act. The Swiss Bankers Association estimates that banks in Switzerland oversee CHF 9.3 trillion (around US$11.5 trillion) in assets under management, making it the world's premier cross-border wealth management centre. However, around 4 out of 5 Swiss banks are yet to establish a regulated crypto assets offering, according to data from the IMF 2025 Financial Sector Assessment (referencing FINMA-supervised banks and securities firms). Fuze aims to serve these institutions, drawing on its significant international experience in scaling crypto assets infrastructure (over US$12 billion in digital assets volume to date). Mo Ali Yusuf, CEO of Fuze Finance, said:“Switzerland is a global leader in crypto assets regulation and we're looking forward to bringing our depth of experience to one of the world's most important financial hubs. Swiss banks and fintechs are looking for more than a crypto product bolted onto their existing systems – they need secure, regulated infrastructure suitable for the future of financial services. We aim to provide these institutions with crypto assets infrastructure that can help them scale and innovate faster to meet growing client demand.” Under its SO-FIT-supervised Swiss entity, Fuze will provide institutional clients with crypto asset infrastructure and stablecoin settlement alongside traditional SWIFT, SEPA and SIC rails, bringing digital and conventional financial infrastructure together within one regulated offering. For Swiss private banks and wealth managers, Fuze will offer a fully disclosed, crypto asset services model, delivered through Swiss-regulated partner institutions (banks and fintechs). The offering also includes institutional crypto brokerage, over-the-counter execution (on an agency basis) and an API platform enabling regulated institutions to embed crypto asset brokerage in their own products. A model to serve institutional demand in Switzerland: An innovative crypto asset model has been outlined in a joint-paper between Fuze and leading enterprise blockchain security and risk solutions firm, Halborn. The model helps banks assess their readiness for crypto assets, from initial market entry through to fully institutional-grade operations. It also outlines how Swiss financial institutions can adopt crypto asset services in line with the country's AMLA/SO-FIT framework, enabling them to scale securely while meeting evolving regulatory expectations. Fuze will phase up its Swiss operations over the coming months, including local hiring to support institutional clients. It will maintain its effective place of management and decision-making in Switzerland. Gianluca Masini, Country Manager of Fuze Finance (Switzerland), said:“Switzerland has built a regulatory framework that treats crypto assets as a core to the future of finance. Under the supervision of SO-FIT, we are establishing and growing an on-ground Swiss team with agile local decision-making. Swiss banks and fintechs rightly hold their partners to a high standard and we want to provide the best possible service from day one.” Following successive years of growth in the Middle East, Fuze is scaling across the world with the backing of international and regional investment funds, becoming a truly international regulated digital assets infrastructure provider. Mo Ali Yusuf added:“Our expansion to Switzerland underlines how strong the UAE is in providing a global platform for digital assets businesses. The UAE's regulated environments have enabled us to build robust infrastructure that can be rolled out across the world.”

Institutional payments between the Gulf and Europe still settle predominantly over correspondent banking, with multi-day value dates, limited visibility over intermediary deductions and opaque foreign exchange. Fuze's Swiss entity routes institutional flows across conventional and stablecoin rails through a smart routing layer that selects the optimal route for each transaction on currency, corridor, cost and settlement reliability. Sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, Travel Rule handling and audit-trail generation are applied identically regardless of which rail carries the payment, so treasury and compliance teams work to one control framework rather than maintaining a separate process for digital-asset settlement.
