'PCB Still Owes Me Thousands Of Dollars': Gillespie Opens Up On Pakistan Cricket Exit
Jason Gillespie claimed that the PCB still owes him thousands of dollars in unpaid dues. He said he did not compromise on his principles and that it was not in his nature to remain silent and accept every decision.
The former red-ball coach accused Aaqib Javed of changing the situation within Pakistan cricket after his appointment and said that he increased his influence over several matters. According to Gillespie, his role in selection matters was also restricted.

Gillespie further claimed that Aaqib Javed made negative comments about him. He warned that if this continued, he could exercise his right to take legal action.
According to Gillespie, Pakistan cricket is stuck in an unstable and damaging cycle. He described Aaqib Javed as one of the major reasons behind the current problems and said that the board's support had made him even more powerful.
The former coach said coaching in Pakistan could have become a major achievement in his career. He wanted to improve the Test team, rebuild the strength of the fast-bowling unit, and prepare pitches that would support fast bowlers and bounce.
Jason Gillespie described his experience as mentally challenging and said he felt saddened when he saw the current state of Pakistan cricket.
He also advised current coach Mike Hesson to trust his own decisions and work independently rather than simply agreeing with others.
