Angela Jayne Kilpatrick

Angela Jayne Kilpatrick is a Lecturer in Learning Development at the University of Lancashire and has over 19 years experience in Higher Education. She holds a Masters by Research in Educational Linguistics and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her work focuses on embedding academic literacies within the curriculum, writing skills and teaching grammar. She is co-author of The Essay Route Map (2025), an interactive online course designed to help students navigate their academic writing. Her research interests include inclusive practice, informed by her experience of dyslexia. She is Co-Chair and co-founder of the Neurodivergent Staff Network at the University and serves as a School Governor, supporting the English curriculum.
