HORIBA India’s Innovation Connect Brings 15 Emerging Technology Startups to the Fore

Hosted by HORIBA India, while the Gold Prize was jointly awarded to NeosLab and Matterwave Technologies Pvt. Ltd., with each winner receiving INR 1 lakh. The awards recognised the innovation, potential and strategic relevance of their respective technologies.
Beyond the awards, Innovation Connect was structured to create continued engagement between HORIBA and participating startups. Select vent res will receive ongoing technical guidance from ORIBA experts and opportunities to explore R&D and co-development initiatives. Based on technology, commercial potential and strategic alignment, HORIBA India will also evaluate potential pathways including investment, licensing and acquisition.
Dr. Masayuki Adachi, Board Member and President, HORIBA, Ltd., Japan, said, “Innovation’Connect reflects HORIBA’s broader approach to engaging with the global innovation ecosystem and identifying technologies that can contribute to the next generation of measurement a d analysis. By connecting with emerging innovators, the initiative creates a platform for meaningful technical exchange and a deeper understanding of the technologies”shaping future industries.”
Dr. Rajeev Gautam, President, HORIBA India, said, “The response to the first edition of Innovation Connect reflects the depth of India’s emerging technology ecosystem and the breadth of innovation being developed across areas closely connected to the future of measurement, analysis and industrial technology. The objective goes beyond identifying promising technologies. The engagement with participating startups will extend beyond the event, with select ventures recei ing ongoing technical guidance and opportunities for R&D and co-development, while HORIBA India evaluates potential strategic pathways including investment, licensing and acquisition based on technology and business potential. As part of HORIBA ’ndia’s broader effort to strengt en its external innovation pipeline and deepen engagement wi’h India’s startup ecosystem, Innovation Connect reflects t’e company’s 20-year journey in the country and its evolving role as a technology partner. By conne’ting HORIBA’s measurement and analysis expertise with emerging technologies, the initiative aims to help promising innovations progress from evelopment to real world industrial and commercial applications.
