Israeli Forces Injure Five Palestinians in West Bank
(MENAFN) Five Palestinians sustain injuries on Monday after being beaten by Israeli forces in two locations across the occupied northern West Bank, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The organization says medical teams take two Palestinians to a hospital after they are “assaulted and beaten by occupation forces” in Anabta, in Tulkarem province.
In a separate incident in Burqa, Nablus province, Red Crescent teams transport three more Palestinians to a hospital after they are reportedly beaten by Israeli forces.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops fire tear gas toward Palestinians at the Ein Sinya military checkpoint north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, according to Palestinian reports.
Restrictions at the checkpoint are tightened, with vehicle movement obstructed and heavy traffic building up before tear gas is fired toward Palestinians. No injuries are reported in the incident.
