Seychelles: Appointment Of Chief Executive Officer Of The National Council For Children

The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of Ms Beverly Isaac as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Children (NCC).

Ms Isaac is an experienced educator and institutional leader with 17 years of professional experience in education, leadership, student welfare and organisational management. She has progressed through the education sector from Secondary School Teacher to Lecturer and, since 2022, has served as Deputy Principal of the School of Advanced Level Studies (SALS).

In her current leadership role, Ms Isaac has been responsible for strategic and operational leadership, staff supervision, implementation of institutional policies, and student welfare and safeguarding. She has also worked closely with parents, Government agencies and community partners and has coordinated programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting the development and wellbeing of young people.

Ms Isaac holds a Master of Arts in Education (Leadership) from the University of Seychelles, a Bachelor of Arts in English, and a Diploma II in Education (Secondary Education). She has also undertaken professional development in executive leadership, organisational leadership and workplace wellbeing.

Her professional experience and areas of expertise include child and youth advocacy, student welfare and safeguarding, stakeholder engagement, community partnership building, strategic planning, organisational development and policy implementation.

Her appointment took effect from 1st September 2026.
