He noted that Azerbaijan has established itself as a self-confident player with broad economic, geopolitical, and military capabilities.
"We are interested in learning about what is happening in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus region, as well as what the new peace project with Armenia means for regional cooperation.
We hope that this conference will contribute to a better understanding of the South Caucasus.
The two-day conference will focus on the future of security and cooperation in the South Caucasus, the new geopolitical realities emerging in the region after the 44-day war, the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, the development of transport and communication links, new infrastructure projects, economic integration, the TRIPP project, possible external risks, as well as the role of the European Union in strengthening sustainable cooperation and connections in the region," he added.
