Ramba Oorvasi Box Office Collection Day 4: Allari Naresh, the king of comedy, is back with his latest film 'Ramba Oorvasi Menaka'. While the movie is running in theatres, its Monday collections saw a major dip

Allari Naresh is a name synonymous with comedy movies. He made audiences laugh with his unique brand of clean comedy and spoofs. When his films started to feel repetitive, they stopped working at the box office. This made Naresh switch to action thrillers and multi-starrers, where he also succeeded. But his fans always wanted him to return to comedy. Listening to them, he is back with 'Ramba Oorvasi Menaka'. Chandramohan Chintada directed it, and Rajesh Danda and Nirmakayala Prasad produced it under Hasya Movies and Annapurna Studios. The film stars Surbhi, Raashi Singh, Vishnu Priya, and Prisha Singh as the heroines.

The film released on Friday (September 4) and got a mixed response. Many critics felt the comedy didn't quite land, which affected its collections. Still, the movie is pulling in decent numbers. It collected around ₹1 crore gross on its first day and the same on the second. On Sunday, the collections grew to over ₹1 crore. But on the fourth day, Monday, it earned only ₹36 lakhs. Reports say the worldwide collection was around ₹50 lakhs. This is a huge drop compared to Sunday. Usually, a film with positive talk sees a 30-40% drop, but this film's collections fell by more than half, which is surprising. In four days, 'Ramba Oorvasi Menaka' has collected about ₹5 crore worldwide. The movie didn't get much of a response overseas, so these collections are mainly from the Telugu states. So far, the film's share is around ₹2.5 crore. The film's team had earlier announced that it earned ₹4.40 crore in three days. The movie's budget was ₹15 crore, and its theatrical business was valued at ₹4.5 crore. This means it needs to collect around ₹10 crore gross to break even. We'll have to see how it performs from here. However, compared to Allari Naresh's recent films, these collections are actually better. In 'Ramba Oorvasi Menaka', Allari Naresh plays Suri, who comes from a family of stage artists. His family owns a magic book. If you open it, the celestial maidens Ramba, Oorvasi, and Menaka appear and grant your wishes. Suri dreams of becoming a hero and has been trying to open the book since childhood. He even takes loans in the village, promising to repay them once the book works, but it never opens. Finally, under difficult circumstances-when he has to marry his lover and save his mother-the book opens. Did Ramba, Oorvasi, and Menaka appear? Did they fulfill his wishes? Did he become a hero, clear his debts, and save his mother? That's the story. The comedy didn't work much, but the mother-sentiment scenes did. The comedy scenes involving touching Ramba, Oorvasi, and Menaka were considered just okay.
