War Update: 181 Clashes On Front Line, 90 Invaders Neutralized In Pokrovsk Sector

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an update on the battlefield situation as of 10:00 p.m.

“Since the beginning of the day, a total of 181 combat clashes have taken place. The enemy launched 62 airstrikes, dropping 168 guided glide bombs. In addition, it used 5,506 kamikaze drones to strike targets and carried out 1,469 strikes on settlements and the positions of our troops,” the report says.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched three airstrikes with 10 glide bombs, conducted seven assault operations, and shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements 80 times.

During the day, in the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchansk, Khatnie, and toward Petro-Ivanivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Kurylivka and toward Kupiansk and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance near Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Stavky, Torske, Zarichne, and Lyman. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully stopped one attempt by the invaders to advance near Kryva Luka.

One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector, toward Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled nine enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, and toward Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka.

A total of 32 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector. The invaders attempted to advance near Vodianske, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Biliakivka, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and Novopidhorodne. Two engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 67 invaders were killed and 23 wounded in the sector today. Ukrainian forces destroyed four vehicles, 10 pieces of special equipment, a supply depot, and 53 enemy shelters. Six vehicles, two artillery systems, one piece of special equipment, nine unmanned aerial vehicle control posts, and 127 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 242 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

The enemy conducted no offensive operations in the Oleksandrivka sector.

Eight enemy attacks were recorded in the Huliaipole sector, toward the settlement of Rizdvianka. Two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack toward Pavlivka.

There were no enemy assault operations in the Dnipro River sector.

No significant changes in the situation were recorded in the other sectors, the General Staff concluded.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia's total combat losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine amounted to approximately 1,497,980 personnel as of September 7, 2026.
