QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, Qatar: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index witnessed a very marginal decline, decreasing by 0.99 points, or 0.01%, at the start of Monday's trading, reaching 9732 points.
The market data showed positive performance in Banks and Financial Services (+0.13%), and Telecoms (+0.07%). In turn, it was negative for Industrials (-0.03%), Insurance (-0.03%), Real Estate (-0.27%), Transportation (-0.30%), and Consumer Goods and Services (-0.38%).
By 10am, turnover stood at QR 44.772 million, with 26.046 million shares traded in 2490 transactions, according to QSE data.
