Jordan, US Discuss Social Development Cooperation
Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) - Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa and US Ambassador to Jordan James Holtsnider on Monday discussed prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation in the social care field.
Bani Mustafa outlined the ministry's key social protection and care programs, along with national priorities for the sector.
She also showcased initiatives by the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Women's Empowerment aimed at boosting women's political and economic participation, emphasizing their growing contributions across the public and private sectors.
