Kyiv To Shorten Curfew By One Hour Starting September 10


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, the Kyiv Defense Council adopted a decision in accordance with a government resolution and several city initiatives concerning the operation of municipal services amid the deteriorating security situation in the capital. The curfew will be shortened by one hour, in accordance with the government's decision, and will run from 01:00 to 05:00. These changes will take effect at midnight on September 10," the mayor wrote.

He noted that the operating hours of public transportation in the capital would be extended by one hour.

According to Klitschko, the operating hours of restaurants, entertainment venues and shopping malls will remain unchanged.

"Also, during curfew hours, because many trains are running late, the city will organize four bus routes to transport people from the Central Railway Station," Klitschko wrote.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kyiv would shorten its curfew and review procedures for public transportation during air raid alerts.
