Ukrainian Strikes Kill Three, Injure Six Across Russia

(MENAFN) At least three people are killed and six others injured in Russia on Monday as Moscow and Kyiv carry out overnight strikes against each other, according to officials.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukrainian forces target an oil refinery in the Ryazan region, along with oil-processing facilities in the Perm region and Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan.

He also says a facility in the Kursk region allegedly used to store and launch attack drones is targeted during the strikes.

In Perm, a “massive” Ukrainian drone attack kills one person and leaves four others injured, while an apartment building is damaged, according to regional authorities.

In Sevastopol, Crimea, a Ukrainian drone kills two people and injures two others, according to the Russian-installed regional governor. He says the drone was carrying explosives and metal fragments.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry says its air defense systems intercept and destroy 306 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, Crimea and waters in the Azov and Black seas.
