Türkiye Women’s Volleyball Team Continues European Dominance
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s women’s national volleyball team secured its second straight European Championship title in 2026, marking another successful year for the country across both international and club competitions.
The team captured its first European title in 2023 after overcoming Serbia 3-2 in the final in Belgium. Three years later, Türkiye returned to the top, claiming the championship once again, this time in front of a home crowd in Istanbul.
The latest triumph brought Türkiye’s European Championship medal collection to seven, including two gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals.
The national side has now won a medal in five consecutive editions of the European Championship.
