Deloitte Middle East supports Lebanese Food Bank through D-CARES initiative to strengthen community resilience


(MENAFN- Gambit Communications HQ) Beirut, Lebanon, 7 September 2026: Deloitte Middle East has partnered with the Lebanese Food Bank through its D-CARES program, donating repurposed laptops to strengthen the organization’s operational capabilities and support its ongoing efforts to serve vulnerable communities across Lebanon. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, sustainability, and building stronger, more resilient communitie .
The handover took place at Deloitte Middle East's Beirut office, in the presence of Rana Salhab, Managing Partner, People & Purpose Leader, and Board Member at Deloitte Middle East, and Wassim Sinno, President of the Board of Directors of the Lebanese Food Bank.
The donation forms part of D-CARES (Deloitte Committed Action for Resourceful Empowerment and Sustainability), Deloitte Middle East's program that extends the life of technology by repurposing equipment to support organizations creating positive social impact. The initiative also aligns with Zeytoun, Deloitte Middle East's regional social impact program, which focuses on supporting communities affected by conflict, disruption, and displacement across the Middle East.
Since 2011, the Lebanese Food Bank has played a vital role in addressing food insecurity across Lebanon, working with more than 120 NGOs to support vulnerable communities and promote environmental sustainability. By strengthening the organization's operational capabilities, Deloitte Middle East is supporting the important work already being carried out on the ground and reinforcing the value of collaboration in creating lasting community impact
