Evacuation Update: 10 Injured Jordanians Brought Home, Final Patient's Transfer Awaits Medical Clearance
Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) -- The Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army said that, following an earlier report on the evacuation of 11 Jordanian citizens injured in a traffic accident in Egypt, 10 of them have been evacuated to Jordan. The evacuation of the 11th injured citizen by air is currently not possible based on the medical assessment of his condition and in consideration of his safety.
The injured citizen is receiving the necessary medical care in Egypt, while his condition is being monitored continuously. The possibility of evacuating him to Jordan will be reassessed based on developments in his condition and the recommendations of the medical team.
The Armed Forces said the injured citizen's safety is the priority and that the necessary measures regarding his evacuation to Jordan will be taken based on his medical condition and the recommendations of the doctors concerned.
