Embassy Of Pakistan Celebrates Heritage With Art Exhibition

Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of Pakistan in Doha hosted a vibrant painting exhibition titled“Colours of Pakistan: Dastan-e-Watan” yesterday.

Featuring works by talented Qatar-based Pakistani artists, the event took place at the Embassy premises, drawing a distinguished audience of diplomats, art enthusiasts, and community leaders.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Ambassador of Pakistan to the State of Qatar
H E Muhammad Aamer. In his opening remarks, Ambassador Aamer commended the artists for their exceptional ability to capture the rich cultural tapestry, landscapes and heritage of Pakistan, noting that art serves as a powerful bridge connecting the diaspora to their homeland while fostering cultural exchange with the international community in Qatar.

The participating artists namely Adnan Siraj; Shehla Khalid Khan; Muznah Hasnat; Shadia Zaheer and Gohar Arslan introduced their works through the collection and highlighted the diverse techniques and thematic depths showcased in the exhibition. The artworks on display offered a visual journey through Pakistan's historic landmarks, serene landscapes and miniatures, earning high praise from the distinguish guests.

The event concluded with a walkthrough of the gallery, where members of the diplomatic corps and Pakistani community leaders interacted with the artists and celebrated the thriving creative talents within the community.
