Israeli Strike on Ambulance in Lebanon Kills Paramedic


(MENAFN) An Israeli airstrike targeting an ambulance in southern Lebanon killed one paramedic and injured two others, local media reported early Monday.

Lebanon-based television reported that the Israeli military directly struck the moving ambulance in the town of Kfar Rumman, in Nabatieh governorate.

Local media identified the paramedic killed in the strike as Ali Shahrour.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene following the attack and transported the injured to a hospital for treatment.

Neither Lebanese authorities nor the Israeli military had issued a statement on the strike as of early Monday.
