Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian, Wound Three Others in West Bank Raids

(MENAFN) A Palestinian was killed and three others wounded late Sunday in two incidents involving Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian officials and medical personnel.
Omar al-Toubas was fatally shot in the head during an Israeli raid on the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya, according to reports.
Medical teams initially transported three wounded Palestinians to a hospital. One had sustained a gunshot wound to the head, another was shot in the chest, while a 17-year-old boy suffered an injury to his thigh.
The gunfire was directed at a residential house in the village, reports said.
In a separate incident in the Jerusalem governorate, two Israeli settlers assaulted a Palestinian man, leaving him with a broken hand and a serious eye injury, according to local officials.
The man later underwent surgery to treat the damage to his eye.
The latest incidents occurred as violence and Israeli military operations continue to intensify across the occupied West Bank. The escalation has coincided with the Gaza war that began in October 2023, along with the expansion of illegal settlements, road-building projects and restrictions affecting Palestinian movement.
