Türkiye, Regional Nations Reject Calls to Displace Palestinians from Gaza

(MENAFN) The foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE strongly condemn recent calls by senior Israeli ministers to remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

In a joint statement, the ministers reject proposals involving the forced displacement of Palestinians from their homeland, warning that such measures violate international law and undermine the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people.

"Such inflammatory statements and proposals flagrantly violate principles of international law, including international humanitarian law, and pose a direct threat to the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people," the ministers said.

The officials also reaffirm their "unequivocal rejection and condemnation" of any efforts or plans aimed at relocating Palestinians, whether within the Occupied Palestinian Territory or beyond it, regardless of the justification presented for such actions.

They further caution that if calls for forced displacement are translated into government policy or practical measures to remove Palestinians from their land, the move could have severe consequences for regional stability.
