10 Citizens Injured In Egypt Bus Crash Returned To Amman, Foreign Ministry Says

Amman, Sep. 7 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs announced that 10 citizens injured in a bus rollover accident on the Nuweiba-Dahab road in Egypt on Sept. 2 returned to Jordan on Sunday evening.

Spokesperson for the Ministry Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali stated that a Royal Jordanian Air Force medical evacuation plane transported the citizens from Sharm El-Sheikh, carrying a specialized medical team from the Royal Medical Services alongside Air Force medical personnel.

Al-Majali explained that one injured woman remains hospitalized in Egypt due to her medical condition, where she is receiving treatment until she is fit to return home. He added that several family members accompanied the injured on the return flight.

The spokesperson renewed the kingdom's appreciation to Egyptian authorities for their cooperation and assistance following the accident.
