I am an experimental social psychologist interested in the causes and consequences of anger and aggression.

The work in my laboratory takes a wide-ranging approach to understanding these phenomena. My research team investigates psychological and biological variables and their interactions.

I received my PhD from the University of Southern California in 2007 and have been working in the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales ever since. I am now a Professor of Psychology. I am an Officer of the International Society for Research on Aggression and current President of the Society of Australasian Social Psychologists.
