Garnest Targets 100,000 Customers, 10,000 Accommodation Units In Egypt
Ahmed Fazara, Founder of Garnest, said the company aims to reach 100,000 customers and increase the number of listed accommodation units to around 10,000 as part of its growth strategy in Egypt.
The platform operates across several Egyptian governorates and tourist destinations, allowing users to search for accommodation based on their intended destination. Listings include chalets, serviced apartments, holiday homes, rooms, and other short-term rental options, with information on prices, amenities, and availability.
Garnest is also expanding its services to include travel-related offerings such as tours, tour guides, transportation, and photography services. The company is developing an interactive map designed to help users identify nearby accommodation, attractions, and services.
On the supply side, property owners and managers can list units and provide details including photos, pricing, amenities, and available dates.
Fazara said the company is targeting expansion into Gulf markets in 2027, following efforts to increase its presence and customer base in Egypt.
Before launching Garnest, Fazara worked on ventures in the retail and healthtech sectors and has experience in business development, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
