Prime Minister To Begin Visit To China Tomorrow: Official Mofa Spokesperson
Doha, Qatar: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari announced that Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani will begin a visit to the People's Republic of China tomorrow, from September 7 to 8.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr. Al Ansari said HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will hold a series of meetings with senior Chinese officials during the visit to discuss the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, as well as to expand economic and investment cooperation in a way that serves the two countries' shared interests.
He added that the meetings will also address major regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region. They will also emphasize the need to ensure the security and freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
