Amir Receives Phone Call From Prime Minister Of Norway
Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway HE Jonas Gahr Støre.
At the beginning of the call, HH the Amir expressed his sincere condolences to the Prime Minister on the passing of His Majesty King Harald V, wishing the Royal Family and the friendly Norwegian people patience and solace.
For his part, HE the Norwegian Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to HH the Amir for his sentiments, affirming the strength of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and his aspiration to enhance and develop them to serve mutual interests.
The call also addressed bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them across various fields, as well as developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian cause, and international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
