Khmara Discusses Front-Line Needs And Scaling Up Production With Defense Industry Representatives
The defense minister thanked the companies for their contribution to Ukraine's defense capabilities.
During the meeting, they discussed the needs of the front lines, new technologies and developments that could strengthen the Defense Forces, solutions to counter Russian threats, as well as opportunities to scale up Ukrainian production.
Khmara emphasized that the Ministry of Defense team will work to establish predictable and clear rules for manufacturers.
It is also important for the ministry to continue direct dialogue with representatives of the defense industry.
The issue of exports was discussed separately. The top priority remains unchanged: meeting the needs of the front lines.
At the same time, the export of Ukrainian defense solutions could serve as a tool for developing the defense industry and attracting additional resources for Ukrainian defense.

As reported by Ukrinform, Khmara and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte held a telephone conversation during which they discussed partner support in the field of air defense, additional funding for Ukrainian defense, and preparations for the“Ramstein” meeting.
