Russian Overnight Strikes Kill Civilians, Hit Multiple Ukrainian Regions


(MENAFN) Russian forces carry out a series of overnight attacks across Ukraine, leaving four people dead and seven others wounded, according to Ukrainian officials.

In Kamianske, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian strike hits an industrial facility, killing four people and leaving five others injured, according to regional authorities.

Another attack targets the Kyiv region, where two people sustain injuries in Boryspil. Emergency teams work to determine the extent of the damage and deal with the aftermath after a nine-story residential building is affected by the strike.

The Ukrainian Air Force says its forces destroy or intercept 128 Russian drones during the overnight assault.

Meanwhile, Russian authorities report that their forces target two major Ukrainian producers of metal goods used by the military in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to reports, additional Russian strikes hit logistics facilities, a dry cargo vessel, two fuel storage and distribution sites, and an electronic intelligence facility in the Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kyiv regions.

Russia also reports that its air defense systems intercept and destroy 53 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, Crimea and the Black Sea.
