Moderate Weather To Continue Through Wednesday
Amman, Sep. 6 (Petra) -- Moderate conditions are expected across most regions through Wednesday, with little change in the overall weather pattern despite a slight rise in temperatures on Monday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
Sunday will see moderate weather across most parts of the country, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba remain hot. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast to become active at intervals.
Temperatures will edge higher on Monday, but conditions will remain moderate across most regions. Hot weather is expected in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that may become active at times.
Similar conditions are forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, with moderate weather prevailing across most of the country and hotter conditions continuing in the Badia and low-lying areas.
Sunday's temperatures are forecast to reach 31 degrees Celsius in East Amman and across the plains and 29 C in West Amman. Highs will reach 27 C in the northern highlands, 28 C in the Sharah highlands and 35 C in the Badia.
Temperatures are expected to reach 37 C in the northern Jordan Valley, 38 C at the Dead Sea, and 39 C in the southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
