Railway Worker Injured In Russian Drone Attack On Passenger Train In Kherson Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Russian forces attacked a passenger train bound for Kherson with several Shahed-type drones around noon. The strikes damaged two diesel locomotives," Prokudin wrote.

According to him, one person has been reported injured so far. A 55-year-old railway worker was taken to hospital in moderate condition.

The woman sustained shrapnel wounds to her arm, a concussion, as well as blast and closed traumatic brain injuries. Doctors are currently providing her with the necessary medical assistance.

In May, Russian forces attacked a passenger train in the Mykolaiv region, striking the locomotive and two cover carriages.
