Breaking News: BOGOTÁ, Colombia - Watermicronworld International Signs $49 Million Deal
WaterMicronWorld International has signed a $49 million, five-year agreement with the WaterCoin Colombia consortium to manufacture and distribute atmospheric water generators across South America.
Under the partnership, WaterCoin Colombia will begin assembling atmospheric water generators in Colombia by February 2027, establishing a regional production hub serving the entire continent.
WaterMicronWorld International is a leading manufacturer of atmospheric water generators that extract moisture from the air to produce pure drinking water, with units ranging from 30 liters per day for residential use to 20,000 liters per day for industrial and municipal applications. The technology eliminates dependence on municipal water infrastructure, bottled water transport, and contaminated sources.
The agreement positions Colombia as the South American manufacturing and distribution center for atmospheric water generation technology, creating local employment and reducing import costs for the region.
"We believe the atmospheric water generator market will expand into millions of dollars per year as water scarcity intensifies across the continent," said a spokesperson for WaterMicronWorld International.
"This partnership with WaterCoin Colombia gives us the infrastructure and local presence to meet that demand at scale.
The 10-year agreement covers technology licensing, assembly operations, and distribution across South American markets.
