Trump Says Putin Not Planning To Attack NATO Countries
Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, brushed off a question about one such apparent incident – the discovery of explosive-laden drones on August 4 at the Leipzig airport in Germany that officials have linked to Russia.
"I speak to him. I know him very well. Putin is not looking to attack NATO territory," Trump said.
However, Trump did not elaborate further on the attack or why he would be so quick to dismiss an apparent attack on a fellow member of NATO.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is set to meet with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in Washington later this month, when the two men will likely discuss the attack.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has recorded 165 suspected cases of sabotage since the beginning of the year.
