Israel Carries Out Deadly Attack in Jabalia Despite Ceasefire
(MENAFN) Israeli forces kill two Palestinians and injure several others in separate incidents involving an airstrike and gunfire in Jabalia town and its refugee camp in northern Gaza, despite the continuing ceasefire, according to local reports.
Israeli troops reportedly fire toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in Jabalia, while an Israeli drone targets a gathering of civilians inside the nearby refugee camp.
Medical personnel say the bodies of two Palestinians, along with several wounded people, are taken to Al-Shifa Hospital following the incidents. The precise number of people injured is not immediately confirmed.
Israel begins its military offensive in Gaza on Oct. 8, 2023, with the campaign continuing for two years and resulting in extensive destruction throughout the territory. Israeli military violations reportedly continue even after a ceasefire comes into effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
