OS Contracts Enables Remote Access To Customer Systems With Keysim Fixed IP Connectivity

OS Contracts Ltd is using KeySIM IoT connectivity to provide reliable remote access to systems operating at customer locations.

The Altrincham-based company supplies EPOS tills, CCTV, door access and membership systems. Many of these installations require a dependable internet connection so the OS Contracts team can access equipment remotely without having to visit the site.

KeySIM applied a fixed IP address to each SIM, giving OS Contracts a consistent address through which authorised users can remotely reach the connected equipment.

Unlike an ordinary mobile SIM, where the IP address may change or incoming connections may be restricted, the KeySIM configuration makes secure remote access possible over the mobile network.

The SIMs can connect to Vodafone, O2, EE or Three in the UK, helping equipment remain connected in locations where the strongest available network may vary.
