Digital Spokesperson 'Farah' To Offer English-Language Version

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - The government's newly launched digital spokesperson service“Farah” will shortly introduce an English-language version aimed at serving English-language media outlets, Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani announced on Friday.

Momani said additional language versions may be introduced at a later stage.

He added that Farah will also contribute to disseminating content related to international investment conferences hosted by or attended by Jordan.

The announcement provides further details on the intended scope of Farah, which was launched by the government on Thursday as a digital government communication tool.

Momani said at the launch that the service is part of the government's efforts to employ digital technology and artificial intelligence tools in communication, with the aim of explaining government decisions and policies and providing citizens and interested parties with access to accurate information.

The expansion into English is expected to extend Farah's communication role beyond Arabic-speaking audiences and facilitate the dissemination of government information to English-language media and international audiences.

The service is part of the government's broader efforts to strengthen digital communication mechanisms and make official information more accessible through technology.
