National Rehabilitation Center Highlights Contributions Of Emirati Women To The Rehabilitation Sector


(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, September 2026 – The National Rehabilitation Center (NRC) marked Emirati Women's Day by celebrating the achievements of Emirati women working across the rehabilitation sector and highlighting their contribution to advancing specialized care, promoting community awareness, and supporting individuals and families.



To mark the occasion, the NRC organized a series of activities showcasing the expertise and accomplishments of its female employees across medical, psychological, social, and administrative fields. The Center also honored its female employees in recognition of their dedication and valuable contributions to the Center's mission and the wider community.

Yousef Altheeb Alketbi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Rehabilitation Center, said:“Emirati Women's Day is an important national occasion that celebrates the achievements of Emirati women across all sectors. At the National Rehabilitation Center, we see first-hand the positive impact of Emirati female professionals, whose expertise, compassion, and sense of responsibility are integral to the specialized services we provide. Their work not only supports the health and well-being of individuals, but also contributes to stronger families and a more resilient society.”

He added:“We remain committed to empowering our female employees and creating opportunities for them to deepen their expertise and take on leadership and specialized roles. We firmly believe that investing in national talent is an investment in the future of our society.”

Dr. Samya Almamari, Director of the Medical Services Sector at the National Rehabilitation Center, said:“I take great pride in being an Emirati woman working in a field that has a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families. My role at the National Rehabilitation Center gives me the opportunity, alongside my colleagues, to raise awareness and support the health and cohesion of our society. Emirati Women's Day reflects the trust placed in Emirati women and the support they receive to fulfill their potential, contribute to the nation's development, and turn their knowledge and ambition into a positive and lasting impact.”

Fatima Saeed, Director of the Nursing Department at the National Rehabilitation Center, said:“Emirati nursing professionals play an essential role in providing specialized and compassionate care to patients. We are proud to contribute to enhancing the quality of care and to stand alongside patients at every stage of their recovery.”

Alyazi Al Mazrouei, Head of the Health Education Section at the National Rehabilitation Center, said:“We are proud of the role Emirati women play in promoting health awareness and reinforcing the principles of prevention, helping empower members of the community to make more informed and healthier decisions.”

The celebration featured a range of cultural and interactive activities for female employees, including an abaya fashion showcase, health and personal care stations, and other employee engagement activities.

The event concluded with the recognition of the Center's female employees for their professional achievements and dedication. The occasion reaffirmed the NRC's commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where Emirati women can continue to develop their expertise, assume leadership responsibilities, and contribute to specialized fields.
