12 Militants Killed In Security Operation In Balochistan's Kalat
Security forces killed 12 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
ISPR said the operation was launched after receiving confirmed intelligence about the presence of Fitna al-Hindustan militants. Security forces identified and monitored their hideout before carrying out the operation.
Weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) recovered from the hideout were also destroyed.
A clearance operation is continuing in the area to eliminate terrorists allegedly operating with Indian support, ISPR said.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister's aide Shahid Rind said a terrorist attack in Bhag city was foiled after police put up strong resistance.
He said around 40 terrorists attacked a police station, a bank and the Assistant Commissioner's office using heavy weapons, rockets and hand grenades.
The attackers failed to take control of the police station or steal weapons. Two policemen and three civilians were injured in the attack.
Rind said the terrorists also failed to loot cash from the bank. The Bomb Disposal Unit later defused an IED planted inside the bank.
