Kingdom To See Moderate Weather Across Most Areas Through Monday - JMD

Amman, Sept. 4 (Petra)-- Moderate weather is forecast across most parts of the Kingdom on Friday, while hot conditions will prevail in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba areas, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Low-level clouds are expected to appear over northern parts of the Kingdom, while winds will be northwesterly moderate, occasionally picking up.

On Saturday, moderate weather will continue across most areas, with hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will remain northwesterly moderate, occasionally becoming active.

On Sunday, temperatures will drop slightly, with moderate weather prevailing across most areas and hot conditions continuing in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Low-level clouds are expected over northern and central parts of the Kingdom, while northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming active at intervals.

On Monday, temperatures will rise slightly, with moderate weather forecast across most areas and hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate, shifting from northeasterly to northwesterly.

Today, temperatures in East Amman are expected to range between 31 C and 19 C, compared with 29 C and 18 C in West Amman, 27 C and 18 C in the northern highlands, and 26 C and 15 C in the Sharah Mountains.

Temperatures in the Badia areas will range between 36 C and 21 C, while the plains will see 30 C and 18 C. The northern Jordan Valley will record 40 C and 26 C, the southern Jordan Valley 39 C and 29 C, the Dead Sea 40 C and 28 C, and Aqaba 39 C and 27 C.
