Ehsan Yaghoubi
- Associate Professor, Civil Engineering, Victoria University
Ehsan Yaghoubi is an Associate Professor at Victoria University and leads the Geotechnical, Rock Mechanics and Pavement Research Group. His research focuses on asphalt and pavement performance, pavement geotechnics, climate-resilient infrastructure, and the use of recycled and waste-derived materials in roads and civil infrastructure.
He leads a team of researchers and PhD candidates working across pavement materials, asphalt durability, ageing, sustainable materials and infrastructure resilience. He also helped establish Victoria University's asphalt and pavement testing facilities, supporting laboratory, pilot-scale and field-based research.
Ehsan has led major Victorian Government and industry-supported research projects on sustainable infrastructure and the reuse of recycled materials in pavement and geotechnical applications, with a strong focus on translating research into practical engineering solutions.
