Ukrainian Government Recommends Shortening Kyiv Curfew
"The government recommends ensuring the full operation of the Kyiv Metro during the yellow alert level and, if necessary, increasing the number of surface public transport services so that people can get to work, hospitals and metro stations," Koretskyi said.
He added that the application of the curfew will also be improved, particularly in Kyiv, with regard to the movement of transit freight vehicles and passenger transportation to and from railway stations.
The government is also introducing a system that will classify air raid alerts according to the level of danger.
"Yellow means a drone attack. Red means there is an increased threat of a missile or combined strike," Koretskyi said.
