Fire Breaks Out Near Russian Air Defense Unit Outside Sochi After Attack Social Media


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) That is according to the Telegram channel Astra, Ukrinform reports.

Sochi residents reported hearing numerous explosions followed by a fire.

The fire reportedly broke out near the Sirius settlement, close to the Psou River on the border with Abkhazia. Analysts say a Russian S-300 or S-400 surface-to-air missile system is located in the area.

In addition, an oil depot in Sochi caught fire. Local residents said they could see a high column of flames from many kilometers away.

As was reported earlier, the defense plant Proton-M caught fire in the Russian city of Perm on Wednesday, September 2. The facility manufactures rocket engines.
