Amir Receives Message From President Of Uzbekistan

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from HE Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, concerning bilateral relations and regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The message was conveyed by Her Excellency Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during a meeting with HH the Amir and her accompanying delegation at his office in Lusail Palace this morning.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wishes for His Highness's continued success and for the Qatari people's further progress and prosperity.

HH the Amir, in turn, asked the Head of the Presidential Administration to convey his greetings to His Excellency the President of Uzbekistan, wishing him continued health and well-being and the Uzbek people continued development and growth.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields were also reviewed.

The meeting was attended by HE Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, and Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums.
