My research focuses on devising signal processing algorithms for critical applications including healthcare, sensing, radar, and communication. I use a combination of model-based techniques and data-driven techniques to solve high-dimensional estimation and prediction problems. I also work on tailoring signal processing algorithms for communication systems by combining Shannon and Maxwell theories using physically consistent models. The ultimate goal of my research is to open the door for unprecedented signal processing applications and therefore build cost-effective and sustainable tools and infrastructures with a reduced environmental footprint.
