CellLink 5G extends cellular connectivity with the latest generation of 5G modem technology for reliable live video transmission from any location. With three 5G cellular modems, each supporting a physical SIM or eSIM, and two antennas per modem for MIMO 2x2, CellLink 5G offers strong signal performance for high-bandwidth transmissions. Connected to Haivision encoders and transmitters via Ethernet and encased within a weather-resistant enclosure with magnetic pads and thread mounts, the CellLink 5G can be placed where the signal is strongest – on vehicles, poles, or buildings – resulting in more resilient video contribution in even the most dynamic environments.

When paired with Haivision transmitters, CellLink 5G can be used to increase the number of available modems to provide greater cellular bonding resiliency for live video contribution workflows, even in remote, crowded, or unpredictable network environments. CellLink 5G also enables the Makito ONE video encoder and decoder to send and receive streams over cellular networks alongside fixed-line links.
