Trakhees Completes More Than 22,000 Transactions In The First Half Of 2026

The Licensing and Services Department at the Department of Planning and Development – Trakhees, the regulatory arm of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, completed 22,823 customer transactions across Dubai's special development zones during the first half of 2026.

Employment visa transactions topped the list of completed services, totaling 11,603. This was followed by 7,923 transactions related to labour disputes, no-objection certificates, services for non-sponsored individuals and occupational health cards. The Department also completed 1,271 establishment card transactions and 2,026 transactions across other service categories.

Employment visa transactions accounted for the largest share of the total, at approximately 51%, while transactions involving labour disputes, no-objection certificates, services for non-sponsored individuals and occupational health cards represented around 35%.

Together, these two categories accounted for 19,526 transactions-more than 85% of all transactions completed during the first half of the year. The remaining transactions comprised establishment card services and other service categories.

The Department of Planning and Development – Trakhees provides commercial licensing and other services to customers across Dubai's special development zones, including International City, Palm Jumeirah, The World Islands, Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai Maritime City, Al Jaddaf and Jebel Ali Village, among others.

Customers can complete their transactions through the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation's website and smart app, as well as at the Customer Service Centre located at the Corporation's headquarters.
