Jordan Condemns Iranian Attack On Kuwait

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Jordan on Thursday condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait.

A Foreign Ministry statement denounced the attacks as a“blatant” violation of Kuwaiti sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation violating international law and the UN Charter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with Kuwait and emphasised full support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty, security, citizens, and residents.

Kuwait's army said Thursday it was intercepting a missile and drone attack from Iran.

"Kuwaiti air defenses are currently engaging hostile missile and drone attacks following the heinous Iranian aggression," Kuwait's army wrote on X.
